i like dates. But sometimes i get really nervous and the conversation gets awkward. But my sister told me the girl probably feels like its her fault as well so then i just remind myself about that and get my confidence back and it rejuvinates my inner rick blaine

That salty pork mixed with the heady, deep sweetness of a date is outstanding
We used to make risotto & add in chopped dates, beet greens, golden raisins & gorginzola then ball it up with an ice cream scooper, bread & deep fry & serve over a plate of arugula pesto

As for the fruit, Chinese golden dates are my new favourite. I had them for the first time recently and thought they were far more flavourful than the ones I grew up eating. They were very, very sweet.

I eat them as-is or chop them up and add them to müesli.
