It's "made" with real cheese.

That's not to say that real cheese is the first ingredient, or that the real cheese didn't get heavily modified before it ended up on the Cheeto.

It's 100% true to say that real cheese was involved, but somewhat misleading. Just like it would be misleading to label a bottle of Boone's Farm with "Made from real grapes!" because it makes it sound like it might not be rat poison.

Well what I was thinking was like how pic related is actual cheese. Are they saying they took this "real cheese" like in the pic and turned it into powder to put on the corn puffs? We know that isn't the case. Instead they use evaporated milk solids of some form and flavor them with various components, but THAT is not "real cheese", it's something that can tastes similar, though isn't from an actual cheese formation.
