Whatever, it's a fair. It's novelty food people eat once or twice a year, at best.

This year at the LA County Fair I had deep fried bacon-wrapped pickles, fried Twinkie, fried cookie dough (favorite item), and a fried baked potato. They also had fried hamburgers that looked interesting.

I'd go for the garlic dippers or cheese crisps. I don't get why people from other countries see shit like this and freak the fuck out, sane people eat stuff like this very rarely, like once or twice a year. If you have a balance diet there isn't anything on that menu thats the least bit harmful.
