smoked salmon goes with cream cheese, capers, red onions, tomato, hard boiled egg, pita bread, and sometimes sushi rice. pasta it does not go with, not parmesan cheese. thats not just tasty.

Ausfag here, worked in pubs clubs and restaurants. The dish is simple enough, needs more colour. Get a bit more of your sauce and get it to stick to the pasta (reduced cream) add some cut chives to it, use shaved parmesan instead of shredded and garnish with some dill. Still simple but should look a bit nicer
