I have a packet of thinly sliced salmon.

I can't really stomach it by itself, how else can you have it?

I had a fetish for salmon on top of rice with a touch of soy sauce and sesame oil mixed in. Gave me some killer heartburn after a few days though, but it was delicious.

not if it's smoked and/or cured

I like smoked salmon in my scrambled eggs. When the eggs are light and fluffy, just right, and the fish is really good it's like angels dancing on your tongue.

Saute red onion and caper berries in olive oil and deglaze with some vinegar and if youre adventurous real maple syrup. Now take a piece of nice bread. Put salmon on bread. Add onion and capers. Parsley. Boom that'll be $20

This sounds the easiest, then maybe I'll go buy some bagels and cream cheese. I don't like capers

I smoke extra salmon that I have. I can give you my brine recipe if you want.

wrap it around stuff or make pinwheels then bake to done
If cured:
spread crispbread with whatever spreadable cheese is native to your part of the world then top with salmon; spritz a bit of lemon and enjoy
