Hi /ck/

So, my significant other just called, sad about having lost money on buying fake global knives. Said the salesman had come into the workplace and sold them, looked to be an arab guy appearently. Just wanted to know if anyone have had experience with this, ever or recently, and what you did? We reside in Sweden.

>> No.4716597

Never buy anything from a salesman. I've worked as a salesman. And I reside in Sweden.

>> No.4716599

If she has the guy's info, drop a dime on him for making terrorist threats and inquiring her about where to purchase bomb making materials.

He did not, probably just a hit and run, if you can say that..

>mfw americans are really this dumb and treacherous

You do realize that the rest of the world doesn't revolve around making nameless tips of your friends and neighbours so that you can see them carted off to illegal arrest centers for endless torture just because you were jealous of them, do you? Oh, of course you don't, you're far too corrupt and evil to consider an alternative way of life.

As long as it's not serrated you can always take it to get sharpened if it dulls. Bought a $2 8" chefs knife at walmart once in a pinch. Haven't had a problem with it in a year of use. She probably got ripped off on the price, but a knife is a knife as long as it's sharp.

She deserves it, why would anyone spend £100 on a single knife anyway?

Does it cut better than other knives?
Does the knife make your food better with its good cut?

almost any restaurant supply shop sharpens knives. the one i go to charges $4 a knife but they get sharp as fuck. if i bring them a few homemade cookies they knock the price down a little for me.

>£100 on a single knife

lol my cheapest knife is more then that. The other anon is correct the edge is kept better and the knife is easy/more accurate while using. I am less likely to nic and cut myself b/c i don't have to worry about slippage.

how so, i love my knives and treat them like a men treat fancy cars.

I spend 50-80hrs a week in a kitchen so I need my tools to be accurate and reliable. Nothing wrong with choosing quality.

Global knives are a notch above 1.4116 steel knives like Victorinox and one notch below VG-10 knives like Shun.
