Can I put those in a microwave and eat them or they'll explode?

If they do explode, do cutting them in small pieces help?

How would they taste like if they're microwaved instead of cooked the way they're supposed to?

God damnit neko.

Just poke holes in them. And seriously, stop microwaving food. It isn't for cooking, it's for reheating.

>yfw there's people on /ck/ right now that like shit meat turds nuked in the microwave

I've never seen people heat up sausages in the microwave except in America. Why is this?

Yes, but the fact they won't heat evenly. Best way to "steam" wieners is to simmer the pack, without holes.

I'm out of gas for my oven and I'm really hungry for something other than snacks.

Will they taste horrible if I microwave them?

Well, microwaving creates no searing, so you won't have a crispy surface. Microwaving also agitates the meat, as it heats through agitation of molecules and the resulting fiction, so you'll get a sloppier consistency with a lot of separated liquid. They'll taste like sausage - more or less - but the mouth-feel and consistency are going to be sucky.

because we fucking invented the microwave and frozen food and tv dinners.

I make these in the microwave all the time, just cut them in half and lay on a plate. Don't cook them too long and if you want you can place them on some paper towels after getting them out to soak up some of the juices.

You can boil them in water with a microwave.

Can you get a fire going somewhere?

I assume you're not in a city, since you said you ran out of gas.

Guess what, hotdogs are already cooked and need reheating, you fucktard.

People should take the extra 5 minutes required to learn to operate their microwave. Its not enough that what would take a stove 10x the amount of time to do, clowns just can't be inconvenienced by spending 5 minutes instead of 3 by insisting on cooking everything full blast at max power. The lower settings can pulse the food, 5 seconds on, 7 seconds off, or just use less power. It heats the food more gently and more evenly.

Full power setting was meant for boiling water because it's pretty hard to burn water.

What you could do is cut off a small piece of the sausage, microwave it on med-low (if there is a picture of a hamburger/hotdog/sandwich on there as a preset use it). And tell us if its any good. I like it and I've been a bit disappointed with grilling. I prefer to boil them in sauerkraut myself (which the microwave does well).

Pic relate: THOSE are hot dogs. Op is cooking sausage.
