What's the tastiest alcoholic beverage I can pick up at a shop? I'm thinking spirits, wines, things I probably haven't tried.

I'm more bothered about having a nice drink than looking hardcore, so feel free to pretend I'm a 13-year-old girl (which may or may not be the case).

>> No.4663465

Something straight of the bottle? Probably a liqueur like Amaretto or Baileys.

>> No.4663464

Get some Amaretto. Pour it into a shot. Get a mild beer like bud or girls light. Drop the shot into the beer and drink whole.

That's a Dr. Pepper shooter.

I have been drinking like a freakin' horse. It's to a point where it's actually dangerous, and somewhat of a problem. I just have no idea what else to do.

I always wondered who drinks at a bar at 8:00 AM. I think I'm going to go find out!

Do fish even drink or is it osmotic for them, or simply part of their bolus, like we swallow a certain amount of air when eating?

It is, I spent incredible amounts of money. My drinking budget is about the rent of a really nice apartment.

One way I manage to control my drinking is actually that I purposely run out of money. Maybe it's self-preservation instinct, and this is actually quite an interesting thing.

My brain's fucked right now, but it's an interesting system to analyze: self-preservation in self-destruction.

I don't endure hangovers, but it's to a point where my brain functions are somewhat impaired. I think it's recoverable, but I really have to stop drinking.

I just really like it, and it really helps other things, but I'm not sure if it's productive/constructive/efficient and my impaired functions are preventing me from being able to evaluate this.

What has been your experience with alcohol, /ck/?

White Russians are likely my all time favorite drink.

Has anyone here done a Pink, Brown, or Yellow Russian? I've been meaning to do them. Those aren't official names, just something I came up with.

Pink would be replace the Milk or Cream with Strawberry Milk, Brown would be Chocolate Milk, and Yellow would be Banana milk. I think it sounds tasty, if a bit sweet.

if you want adventure and/or fire, fill shot half with amaretto and top with 151-proof rum, light the bastard on fire and THEN drop into pint glass and drink. Take caution with Flaming Dr. Peppers, that's a lot of proof.
My suggestion for beginner drink is either Moscow Mule (>>4663542), a basic highball (whiskey of your choice with ginger ale) or the Gimlet: only ingredients are gin and Rose's sweetened lime juice. Roses makes a lot of horrible products, and i use the sweetened lime for nothing else, but it's a good way to get a newbie into gin, because gin and whiskey are "scary", it seems.

That's a tough one, because usually the smoother they are the older they are and the older they are the more expensive they are.

Also, blends aren't necessarily bad for beginners. In fact, a lot of blends can be smoother. It really depends on the maker.
