I got a sweet tooth but I don't know where to buy sweets.
It's been 9 month since I moved to Paris, I know most of you are americans but if you ever travelled here or lived in Paris, I'd be happy to know where you bought yours, what's your favorite shop for pastries and so on.

If you're not familiar with macarons, you should. They're the best fucking pastry in the Kingdom of France. Many bakeries sell them (look for "boulangerie pâtisserie"), but there are some specialized brands (Ladurée is one).

Also search for "chocolaterie" or "confiserie" on pagesjaunes.fr and see which ones are closest to you.

I'm actually french and I searched for those in the yellow pages, qype, google maps and so on. The trouble is... most of the establishment proposed are not as good as advertised.
In the south, pretty much any bakery had decent pastries, but since I'm here it's a hassle too find anything as good.
I'd just want people to share their favorite bakery and such in Paris.
