Why are oreos so fucking high in calorie content compared to other cookies? peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies twice there size are less rich.

Oreos are like, 50% leavened cookie base, a lot of which is cocoa powder and flour, and 50% icing, a lot of which is shortening and icing sugar.
