Fellow Jews on /ck/, do you have any cooking/food ideas for passover. I cannot eat any bread or grain products aside from matzoh and I don't want to fall into the trap of having to always eat either meat and potatoes, or matzoh pizza.
Pic related: today's lunch.

it was good though, but the point remains that I need food ideas that are legitimately good that don't contain any grains that I can't replace with matzoh meal

How about you fucking convert to a good religion like christianity where you can have any food at any time with none of your faggy restrictions.
>MFW I can eat Bacon, Lobster, Mussels, Pork Chops, Crab, and Cheese Burgers freely.

Also, is it just me that sees the new /asp/-alternative sports board and automatically thinks that it is a board dedicated to aspergers?

>> No.4344413

That would be redundant because every board on 4chan is dedicated to aspergers

First up: my wife loves Matzoh Pizza.

Second up: lets have some fun.

Depending on whether you are Sephardic or Ashkenazic, your list of banned foods for Pesach will be different, but you already know this (that was for the benefit of our fellows here on /ck/)

I've found this is a good time for fresh fruit and veggies. Also it is a good time for steak & chicken dishes.

While I don't have my mother in law's Unstuffed Cabbage recipe, meatballs & cabbage in a tomato sauce is delicious.

My mother makes a mean brisket for passover: Here is what you need: A big jar of Applesauce (either specifically kosher for passover or one of those natural blends that are just apple and sugar [I hate how cornsyrup is in everything]), a normal sized bottle of kosher for passover ketchup, a packet of kosher for passover onion soup mix. Take a heaping hunk of beef brisket and trim most (but not all) the fat. Mix other ingredients. Place saucey mixture and brisket into slow cooker/crockpot. Let it go for a few hours until tender. Remove & cut either with or against the grain to your liking (some of us like our tender soft brisket to be falling apart) serve in the sauce/gravy.

thanks my Kike!
I also hate how corn syrup is in everything, it makes almost all canned fruits and soft drinks unkosher, plus many conveninece foods that shouldn't have it in the first place. Also, don't take offence to me calling you a kike. I'm trying to claim it like the blacks claimed nigger.

You can't eat meat on Fridays, idiot.

>Pursuant to Canon 1253, days of fasting and abstinence are set by the national Episcopal Conference. Parallel to the fasting laws are the laws of abstinence. These bind those over the age of fourteen. On days of abstinence, the person must not eat meat or poultry. According to canon law, all Fridays of the year, Ash Wednesday and several other days are days of abstinence, though in most countries, the strict requirements for abstinence have been limited by the bishops (in accordance with Canon 1253) to the Fridays of Lent and Ash Wednesday. On other abstinence days, the faithful are invited to perform some other act of penance.

Ooh, that's another good idea. I was looking at a recipe for that in my jewish cookbook and it has no flour of any kind, plus they can be very delicious when browned. whenever I see /cgl/ I think it's a geology board.

Also, what's your preffered charoses recipe. My inlaws do apple, cinnamon, pecan with a bit of grape juice. My family has done apple, pear, cinnamon, grape juice, & raisins.

Matzoh pizzah, lasagna, kugel, matzoh brie. Matzoh balls obviously. Try flavoring/coloring them with tomato paste, basil, turmeric, etc.
Flourless chocolate cake, linzertorte, matzoh brittle, macaroons.
pic related, the only legitimately good use of matzoh

I always like chocolate covered matzoh in theory, but whenever I have it I always find it too dry. Matzoh Lasagna is pretty good though.

I also do appreciate your fellow appreciation of Tannahs. One of my greatest fantasies is for a whole bunch of people to put on trips of famous tannaim and roleplay as them interpreting the so called "rules of the internet" we could then compile the arguments into a talmud of the internet.
