I realize this might be a bit obscure, but I'll give it a shot. Since I came to the University of Michigan I've heard how its a city know for its restaurants, but haven't found anything particularly impressive this far. Any Michiganders have a recommendation? This could be a general Ann Arbor/ Michigan restaurants thread.

>Bumping after 2 minutes

You DO know that /ck/ is a slower board, yes? No need to bump when it's still on the front page.

This. I work near Plymouth road and only really frequent these places. Get yourself a Blimpie burger when you're downtown. Siam Square is surprisingly good. Evergreen is run of the mill. Lucky Kitchen is good when the weather is nice.

Siam square is great Thai. Don't let the creepy hotel fool you, the food is hands down the best Thai you'll find in the area. Haifa falafel is really good Mediterranean food as well.

Want a laugh? Look up reviews for that hotel. I kid you not, we saw three girls in minimum clothing being escorted out in handcuffs by the police during lunch.
