So I've been drinking this amazing beer called "la fin du monde". It's a great beer, tastes kind of fruity and I can somehow down 2 litres of it without getting a hangover.

Someone on /ck/ recommended la fin du monde to me, but I gotta say, it's not as enjoyable unless it's really cold. And it's a slow drinker, so it usually doesn't stay that way.

Love me some mad tom though.

Tripels and Quadrupels are a mixed bag for me too. The flavour and aroma has to be pretty pronounced to mask the generally high quantity of alcohol in those types of beers. Some of them hit it out of the park, and they're fantastic. Others taste like cough syrup.

find a shitty convenience store that sells, they usually don't bother removing the 2 x 750/10$ special that they sometimes have, and leave it year round. At that price if you buy the strong beer( buy the Don de dieu, fuck) you get more alcohol/$ than pretty every other format of beer. The only cheaper choice are pabst, molson's 10, black bull and a 15 bottle of Tremblay.
