Went to Casa Fiesta for the first time with my dad tonight and loved it. I was always mad that it took place of the local Ponderosa back then but my friends highly recommended it over Taco Bell, and I'm glad I took the chance because the food was excellent and the waiters were very friendly. I can't wait to go back!

What are your favorite places to get authentic Mexican food, /ck/?

Another casa restruant my friend! Casa Bonita. It feels like a slice of Mexico dropped right smack dab in the middle of Colfax Avenue. From the cliff divers and live mexican dramas to the all you can eat "chicken" or "beef" cuisine delivered in trays. Plus, cotton candy and giftshop for dessert.

At least give us a fucking coupon ya dicks.

Reminds me of Casa Bonita.

What? Casa has at most two locations that I know of. This would only work as "marketing" if all of /ck/ lived in Ohio.

A real mexican taco shop, the dirtier the better. Everything else is imitation. Unfortunately, you need to live near the border.

If your favorite restaurant has never had to temporarily close down due to numerous health violations, it's not legit.

You've never gone to a mexican restaurant in mexico or south texas that actual mexican working class people eat at, have you.

Casa playa in redondo beach, CA. Cheap, authentic, near the beach

Actually yes I have. I've also been to normal middle class people restaurants in Mexico. You've never been more than 5 miles past the border, have you? Probably Juarez or some shitty place like that. There are dirty places that taste good, there are dirty places that taste like shit (more common), there are clean places that taste good (common once you get deeper into the country), and there are clean places that taste like shit (especially in tourist cities).

If you're picking your restaurants based on how dirty they look, you're doing it wrong, you're a retard, and you probably get sick a lot and make dumb excuses like "my gringo stomach hasn't gotten used to the germs yet".

the majority of people who bitch about shit being authentic or not are the same ones who gladly will sit down at a small mexican fusion bistro that charges 18 dollars a plate for some goat and black beans.
