Holy fuck. I don't hate grapefruit, but I'm definitely not a fan, my significant other has made me try it a million times because they enjoy it so much..and honestly I have gotten a bit more used to it but at first I really didn't like it. And i'm not some faggy picky eater, I eat almost everything but just not a real big fan of citrus fruits and the taste of grapefruit was just..no good.

For all the people complaining about it being hard to eat, get a Jamaican grapefruit, it opens up like a mandarin, easiest to peel ever. Also sells under Ugli fruit.

I'm a 63 year old man and i've had grapefruit every single day for breakfast for as long as i can remember.. since i was a kid. I take one, (pink is my favourite) slice it cleanly in half, then slice a knife through the segments and around the outer circle so they're ready to pop out. Then i sprinkle a bit of suger over it, take a teaspoon, sit back and enjoy.

Everybody calm down. Sprinkle a little bit of salt on it, then try a bite. Do not ever put sugar on it. Sounds weird but just trust me.

And also, its a great thing to add some contrast to fruit bowls. I have bought some fruit bowls at restaurants and cafes and that shit is so imbalanced. A bunch of fruits class and all whip out their fruit dicks to see who is sweeter. Nah. Little bit of grapefruit keeps things in line.

And btw, all bets are off if you recently brushed your teeth. You will be in for nastiness beyond your wildest dreams.
