I've got one of these lovely little fossils in my cheap ass apartment. The manufacturer's tag on the inside gives a production date of 1977, and I'm really not sure it's safe to operate. It burns my food constantly, even when I'm keeping an eye on it, and always cooks unevenly.

Honestly, if what I'm cooking can fit in my counter top toaster oven, I don't even bother with that thing.

OP here. Yeah, that was three pounds of bacon and when it was done, the whole apartment smelled like bacon and I wasn't really hungry anymore :(
