You go for the novelty, not the food. Hooters is a fun place to eat, and its nice seeing the attractive, half naked servers, but dont expect gourmet dining on any level.It is what it is. Greasy and uninspired food.

I have several german restaurants near me and they are completely overrun by fat old retards. Its like the golden corral, except they are in old rustic buildings (colonial-era houses actually) that are not equiped for troughs and livestock so it sucks to eat there. Last time I dined in, I had two different old women run their wrinkley fat ass across my shoulder as they tried to squish by me. Ugh. Don't know how many more of them we would need before they would be approachable by "the rest of us".

Hooters Wings are okay, they deep fry them in batter and then sauce them which is a little different. When I was stationed in VA all everyone wanted to do was eat at Hooters. And everytime we spent at least 3 hours on the shitter getting rid of that greasy shit.

A million other places they could work at and get better tips, but very few where you can make believe you're a real stripper, yet not actually be a stripper. Its an ego thing for them. Back in the day I think it was more competitive so they could actually screen for big boobies (leg man myself, I like the flatties). The wings are indeed greasy. The size is good (larger than usual, more meat), skin is soft not crispy, sauce is pretty good, but if you are put off by grease, you won't like them. When I eat those occasionally its always the grease that gives me the "ok... I'm done" effect, not the fullness or heat.

They have other foods. Its bar food. One by me has decent nachos and the burgers are ok. Lots of TVs so I go when there are some sports to watch.
They do happen to have good dressings (ranch and bleu) so I almost always just get fries and pound a few beers.

I like Buffalo Wild Wings better. But now that there's been this place called Pluckers showing up around my area, I'll be going there again. There wings were significantly larger and I loved the Bakers Gold flavor they had. Same price too.

While I've been to a Tilted Kilt (food was decent for the setting), we don't have any around here. We do have a Hooters though. All of our Hooters girls are on the scrawny, meth headed side and none of them have a decent pair of tits. We have bouts of time where there's like 3-4 of them pregnant at a time. BUT, you asked about the food. I like their fried pickles.. and I love the shit out of their chicken sandwiches. Their wings are so-so, but I still prefer them over the visit itself to Buffalo Wild Wings (they always take forever regardless of the amount of workers/people needing to be served). Try Hooters, don't overtip due to nervousness or feelings of being a "creeper".. shit on those bitches and their sub tier tits and service.

don't like the food, don't like the people it attracts, I had the rudest waitress ever when I went there and she actually suggested the amount she would like to be tipped. I obviously gave her nothing as a tip because of this transgression and then reported her to management afterwards.

I won a Hooters gift card at work so I got chili cheese fries from them to go. They were horrible.
