What is your stance on putting french fries/potato chips in a sandwich?

>> No.4132233

potato chips are pretty good on tuna fish sandwiches, but that's about as far as i go

Never.

i'd rather have them on the side

Anyone else annoyed at how big the slices are?

It would taste like bread with a side of bread and not much else.

I approve of this idea. But the fries should never ever be the only topping of the sandwhich.

I like to eat rolls with chicken leftovers, some sauce, iceberg lettuce and either Lays Super Chips or spicy tortilla chips. Incredibly lower-class, but also very delicious.

Yer plonker!

I wouldn't say that. But this sandwhich is definitely unedible without half of it ending up on your face and on the table.

sorry for the extra Hs in my sandwiches.

You obviously smush it down a bit before biting into it.

Do you even sandwich?

>> No.4132253

I'd rather just have them on the side. They've never actually improved a sandwich, I've never though "this sandwich would be better with potatoes on it"

It seems like an excuse for a restaurant to serve limp and shitty fries because their customers will probably be too busy thinking "LOL GIANT SANDWICH" to give a shit about what it tastes like.

Pittsburgh fag here

It's delicious when it isn't from Primanti Bros

when I was young I put dorito's on my pb&j sandwiches

Hate on lettuce and cabbage all you want, but they were simply made for sandwiches. Coleslaw on pulled pork is God tier.

I want my fries on the side so I can dip them in some kind of mayonnaise-based sauce.

Yeah, so everything falls out left and right... it looks already over-topped, just sitting there on the plate.
>>4132267
put the sauce on the sandwich too.

>> No.4132301

As a rule, I usually divide my chips/fries in two. One half goes in the burger/sandwich and the other remains a side dish.

>> No.4132320

I need something crisp on my sandwiches, whether it's lettuce or slaw or chips, whatever.

It's just not the same.

I honestly thought everyone does this. Every chip and fish shop in the UK sells chip buttys.
