gourmand-behind-new-yorks-666-douche-burger

>New York City’s 666 Burger food truck has a treat for you. For just $666 you can purchase a foie gras-stuffed Kobe patty covered in Gruyere cheese that’s been melted with champagne steam and topped with lobster, truffles, caviar, and a BBQ sauce made with Kopi Luwak coffee beans that have been pooped out by some sort of animal called the Asian palm civet. The whole thing is then served in a gold-leaf wrapper. It’s called the Douche Burger, and, yes, it really is for sale. Franz Aliquo, 36, co-owner of 666 Burger, explains why.

>The idea came from our deep-seated disgust and hatred of all the other douche burgers out there. A burger is about meat, bun, and cheese. All of this other stuff just ruins the flavor.

If someone had $600 to casually spend on a burger, he wouldn't be taking financial advice from you, kid.

I'm not talking about financial advice. It's their money and they can do what they want with it. I'm talking about having some taste and not being a nouveau riche and thinking that a glorified burger is haute cuisine

The targeted consumer is not the average everyday middle-class American. It's clear to everyone with half a brain that this is just a publicity stunt (hence the name 666 Burger). If you had bother reading the article so kindly posted by OP, it would be obvious.

Anyone who actually spends that kind of money on a burger, would not be pretentious enough to think that they were spending it on the taste. Rather, they would be spending it for the experience.

To a lot of people in the world, $666 is chump change. I hope you enjoy the fact that you'll be scraping the bottom of the barrel to even come to anything close to that dollar.

Grow up kid.

So in order to grow up I have to understand the fact that rich people like to spend 600$ for the experience of spending 600$ on a burger?

it's legitimate "kobe beef".

the usa is a rogue nation when it comes to handling protected names.
it's perfectly legal to label a cheap burger as "kobe beef", a processed cheese as "Parmigiano-Reggiano" or a cheap sparkly wine as "Champagne".

You should stop having boring as fuck taste. A good sauce had another layer of flavors to a dish. Just stick to eating your steamed vegetables and your steak thats only seasoned with salt and pepper

>> No.4085610

The catch is that it's actually a portabella mushroom stuffed 80/20 chuck beef burger, choked by an American cheese slice steamed with Colt 45, topped with imitation crab and sprinkled with ground 8 o'clock coffee beans. The burger is man-handled into a Wal-Mart flier before being served.
Enjoy, douche.

>Wait, why can’t I put lettuce and tomato on my burger? I like lettuce and tomato!

>People use them to make up for a deficiency in the burger. If you don’t toast your bun correctly, it’s not crispy enough and you need lettuce to make it crispy. If your meat is too dry, tomato helps hide that fact, gives you the juiciness. But if you’re toasting your buns, getting a nice crust, and you’re cooking your meat properly, there’s no need for them.

What kind of bleak, lifeless worldview does this man have? Did his parents never hug him? Did his mother shoot his dog? Does he just not know what love is?

Not sure. even if you do both of those, tomato/lettuce can add flavor. Hell, sauces are fine too.

666 burger
Our custom locally sourced grind, grilled to juicy, mouthwatering perfection. An extreme level of deliciousness that all burgers should strive for, but which only 666 can attain.
Satan Burger - $10

Same grind, same spicing, but stuffed with a pat of butter. The best steaks are finished with butter to make 'em extra delicious, our burgers are made from the best meat, so why not serve them as steaks? Your mouth will thank you for this.
Beelzeburger - $8

Same as the 666 burger, but with the addition of a mix of hand ground Cajun-esque spices. A spicy hamburger... with flavors, not just spice. This will blow you away.
Fries $3

Crispy on the outside, soft and creamy delicious on the inside. Hit with a secret spice blend and served with dipping sauce.

>> No.4085810

666 Burgers are made with a meat blend of sirloin, brisket and short rib, and spiced with salt and pepper.
They are cooked medium rare, which is the only way to cook a burger made of good meat.
Our burgers are served on a toasted potato roll, with a dab of ketchup.
Fuck brioche buns.
That's it.
That's all you need for an amazing burger eating experience... anyone tell you different and they're hiding something wrong with their burger.
Our cows were treated fucking awesomely. They ate grass to their hearts' content, they freely roamed fucking picturesque scenery and chilled hard. They became delicious.
Basically they led a great, comfortable life and when time came for them to die, that was done with respect for the animal and painlessly. No fucking around with meat processing plants - this shit was like a religious sacrifice - the comfort and psychology of the animal was first and foremost.
From animal to meat to burger, we respect the sacrifice the animals make on our behalf... that's why we highlight the beef, not tainting it with tomatoes, lettuce or other toppings.

You seem to have a personal problem with being criticized for the misuse of money, friendo. Did daddy get angry at you for misusing the trust fund?
