Hey ro/ck/stars, happy December! I'll be uploading a different cookbook every day this month until Christmas. :)

Almost all of the books in this year's Calendar are available in both PDF and ePUB. If possible, I really recommend that you download the ePUB version as the PDF has been converted from the original ePUB and may be formatted irregularly as a result. You can download a free ePUB reader from Adobe or install a plug-in for your browser to view the files.

>Beard on Pasta
>by James Beard

>A collection of delicious pasta recipes by culinary icon James Beard (whose legacy lives on through 20 books and the coveted James Beard Foundation awards). It includes all the information necessary for a variety of dishes, including tips on saucing, stuffing, and serving. Originally published in 1983, this volume is a kitchen classic.

Thank you to everyone who asked me what I wanted for Christmas. It's really sweet of you and I can't properly express how touched I am, but I don't feel like it's right to accept gifts for sharing pirated goods. If you'd like to do something, please purchase a hard copy of the book(s) you liked, or just pay it forward. :) I know that sounds incredibly lame but there are a lot of people who deserve that kindness more. Two charities that I really believe in is the Paralyzed Veterans of America (pva.org) and City Harvest (cityharvest.org), so check them out if you guys have a bit of extra cash during the holiday season and do the whole Spirit of Christmas thing.

(And thank you again. This is the first year I haven't been trolled to hell and back so I don't really know how to take all of this positivity, lol. <3)

I bet you're pretty awesome yourself. :D

I've never attempted donuts but I know that this book has a lot of good reviews behind it:

As for the cookies... I am a big fan of Martha Stewart's book (as I get older the more I appreciate her).

Also, Momofuku Milk (Dec 2nd) has a bunch of really awesome cookie recipes. Corn cookies were always my favorite from the Milk bar and the recipe in the book doesn't disappoint. :)

I also really love Taste of Home magazine (and website). There are a lot of really incredible family recipes that get published and nearly every cookie recipe I've tried from it has been stellar.

And for the anon who asked for a soup cookbook the other day:
