What do you think the freezer is for dummy? Put that skrit steak in a pan for 2 minutes on each side and eat up! For your health.

I was always under the impression that meat can be stored in the freezer pretty much indefinitely, so long as it's contained properly (wrapped and stored in air-tight freezer bags with as much air as possible removed, etc)

If not, this could be a problem for me. I just left my college apartment for the winter and I left some meat in the freezer. Filet mignon and ground beef and turkey.

Eh, I usually get rid of food that's more than a year, year-and-a-half old from the freezer, unless it was frozen immedietly after getting it from the butcher (my sister and I split a half-cow from my uncle every year).

I find poultry, especially, just gets a really nasty texture after too long in the freezer. Fish loses taste... but that's just opinion, maybe it's placebo.

It doesn't last forever. Eventually it still goes rotten, but 2 months shouldn't be a problem if your freezer is set at an adequate temperature.

Be sure to marinade that shit in lime juice, chili powder and sugar first. Fajitas FTW!

Hell yea man, use that shit up!!!! I'm jealous, skirt steak is one of my favorite cuts but its getting too expensive here. Fajitas might be my favorite food, depends out what day it is. Anyways meats can be stored in the freezer for months, 2 months is nothing and its still gonna be awesome.

Pic related, dat sum fajitas.
