It's not even the noodles, it's the soup that's so chocked full with msg and sodium that makes it shitty. Also there's a huge difference between just dried noodles and deep fried or other ways pre-treated ones.

With that said I enjoy some instant ramen once in a while, but if you honestly are going to be a douche about some food item then this is perhaps the lowest point you can choose.

It's not on the level of dried semolina noodles, it's more on the level of those box chicken noodle soup things, the ones that come with dried noodes, chicken bouillon packet and some oily ball of fats and flavorings. I buy those things on occasion, they're handy to have when you are too sick to cook.

I studied in Japan a year and they've got some crazy instant ramen going on there (though frozen ones are generally better, dried ones have alot of quality). With that said, it's not high class eating and being a fucking a douche about the superiority of them is just fucking stupid.

As for one I've actually tried: pic related, the one on top with the girl with the red hair. That's the best packaged/instant ramen I've ever had, ever. Now that I live in America, though, I find it impossible to get a hold of and have not had it in five years.
