They don't have any oranges for sale in Germany?

>> No.4028196

Man, the local farmer's market (sadly they ended last month) had one farming family that specialized in the best honey crisp apples. Only about two dollars a pound for "day old's," but holy cow.

I'm glad I like mandarins and tangerines because otherwise I'd be paying about three fifty per pound for even crap apples at the local grocer. Grapes are also pretty nice.

Question for the foodanons: am I the only guy that eats the entire apple, core, seeds, and all, or am I some demented freak?

The seeds contain a small amount of cyanide but you can't get poisoned from eating them whole since the outsides are indigestible

there is a thriving mail order industry where people can get the finest foods, through the mail. I know this absolutely boggles the minds of poorfucks on 4chan, but it's the way of the real world.

I don't, I have orange trees in the backyard and live in orange growing country so it's dirt cheap here, but I'm saying there's nothing wrong with it if you live somewhere that oranges aren't so plentiful.

Hell, most of the oranges in supermarkets around the nation have to be shipped in from hundreds or thousands of miles away, it's not so different buying a crate of oranges from a catalog.
