I try to avoid fast food but I'll find myself there about once a month. My favorites are Raising Canes, Chick Fil A, Whataburger, and even Taco Bell. Not gonna lie, I do like Popeyes, just saying that since its in your pic. I'd rather Canes or Chick but as far as cheap fast food chicken goes Popeyes is legit. Its so much better than KFC or Church's.

I'm a big Chick Fil-A fan, for the longest time it was around a 20 minute trip to get there, and 20 minutes back

For shits and giggles when I was in Mexico I went to a Mc donalds and the big mac's patties were literally paper thin- jerky type "meat" with the weirdest fucking ketchup/salsa stuff on it. I threw it away funny thing though, the fries were exactly the same. Also, Mexican dominos was a fucking hoot. Good times.

I've found in my travels that KFC in Australia is amazingly delicious compared to Canada and USA

There's an old-fashioned Dairy Queen close to where I live (none of the new shit is on the menu, everything looks like a Mom 'n Pop diner) and it makes the best fucking burger and fries. They probably still use trans fats or something, but I'm spoiled for any other fast food place after eating there.

I don't really do much fast food. Most of it just isn't good to me. Most Mexican places should be avoided like the plague, but, one of my guilty pleasures are cheesy gordita crunches, with a doritos taco shell for the crispy one. Taco Bueno is just as bad, Taco Cabana is slightly better, but still not great. Chipotle makes me sick. Freebirds is fucking great though.

KFC sucks, I don't know why people like it. Popeyes is way better, and Raising Cane's is awesome. Church's is okay.

Burgers: The only burger places I go with any regularity are Whataburger and Burger King. There's something in the meat at burger kind that tastes fake as hell, but for some reason I like it. I'd never even go to McDonalds if the didn't have the Big Mac. Jack in the Box gives me the runs bigtime, and their cheese tastes like shit. I haven't eaten in Dairy Queen in forever, but I don't recall it being good or bad. Braums is actually pretty decent. A&W is really good, but the closest one to me is like 15 miles away, so I never go there.

I've been meaning to try out Five Guys though, heard good things about them.

Oh, and Arby's is fucking awful.

Five Guys is the best in my opinion, but it's pretty pricey, it's like 15 bucks for two people, and you don't want to go alone because they give you so many fries. A small fry easily feeds 3.

I have Taco Bell maybe 4 times a week, and Subway pretty much every other day.

I eat out way too much, but hey, I'm not even a buck fifty so weight isn't a huge concern.

I fucking love New York Fries poutine. Best I've had in my life. I really have to force myself not to get any whenever I'm at the mall, since one bowl pushes like 900+ calories alone.

Dairy Queen does brilliant cheeseburgers. Chicken strips and fries are okay-tier though. Absolutely love the Blizzards. Usually get Chocolate Xtreme or Cookie Dough.

A&W has magnificent burgers. I don't know if it's how they toast the bun or if it's the seasonings in the meat but it's always great. Chubby Chicken is good, fries are meh.

McDonalds is God Tier. I hate myself for having that opinion but I seriously can't help it. I could easily eat three double cheeseburgers in one sitting. They're awesome. Chicken McNuggets are brilliant, fries are the absolute Elder God of all Fast Food fries. Fillet-o-Fish is the best fast-food fish I've ever had.

KFC is alright. The chicken skin is delicious, but the actual chicken itself is usually fatty and gristly and not all that great. If I order drumsticks/thighs it's a chore to get through the chicken once I've eaten the skin. I hear in America you can buy the skin on it's own? Popcorn Chicken is great, fries are probably second after McDonalds, and the Chicken Bowl is pretty sweet. Mashed Potatoes on their own as a side are shit-tier though. They taste like nothing.

Have you not had it before? It's been my understanding for a while that New York Fries is the unquestioned overlord and ruler of all things Poutine. They have earned and deserved that title justly.

Their fries are just spectacular. Even on their own (you can get just plain salted fries in a tall cup) they stand as a great meal. They're much more like a "classic" french fry than the kind of stuff you get a McDonalds or Burger King. Like...they're thicker and crispier on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They just have that *look* about them...you can tell they were chipped from real potatoes. They're more natural in that way I guess. Like, you can still see the potato skin on the outside of 'em. They're triple-fried to make them super golden and super delicious.

Now. The poutine. The poutine. This is where things start to get DECADENT.
New York Fries has their own brand of brown beef gravy that they are super secretive about. My boyfriend worked there for a while in high school and he never ended up learning what really went into making the gravy. It's incredibly rich. Like INSANELY rich. it's super thick and smooth, and it tastes divine. No impurities. I'm honestly not exaggerating when i say I could drink that shit strait from a glass.

The cheese curds are beautiful. They're about as cheesy as you'd expect them to be, but they just melt so wonderfully and become a stretchy, stringy, ooey gooey mess while you're eating.

Everything about it is awesome. NYF has a whole range of Poutines, but I've never had anything other than the Classic Original. I can't vouch for all that Veggie Works, Butter Chicken etc etc stuff.

Pure beef gravy and cheese on delicious fries.

I'm about a 10 minutes walk away from Smokes. (I also just realized it was a chain). I went there for the first time a month ago and I have to say, it was very disappointing. I've never had a Poutine from any chain besides NYF that I've really loved. Maybe NYF has spoiled me, but I don't really know. I've had poutine from A&W, KFC, and Burger King, but none of them have been that great.

I'm actually mildly allergic to onions. I order my food without them and I've never eaten an onion ring. They look great though, I'm usually a big fan of anything with a brown crispy skin.
