I really don't get why anyone would go to burgerking. Their burgers are always drenched in this disgusting chemical ketchup that gives me headaches, their fries taste like paper and the ice cream also has this overwhelming taste of artificial flavor.

Maybe it's only like that in germany?

I don't get why people hate on BK fries. I like them way better than McDonald's fries, or Wendy's.

Best fries are still Jack in the Box's curly fries though. It's a shame everything else on their menu makes me violently ill.

BK changed their frys semi-recently to a thicker style of fry. IMO, not a good change, makes them way too starchy. They weren't exactly the best before, but they were at least passable.

Wendy's is where it's at for frys now. Their change to sea-salt was so good.

I personally think Wendy's fries have gotten worse.

It's sad, they used to be my favorite. Then they started adding sea salt to it, and that's what ruined it.

I don't even mind the sea salt, I just wish they would use less of it. I don't know what they did, but it's way saltier than usual.

Everyone seems to hate BK but I think they are easily the best of the big three chains for everything except nuggets. I never go because no one else ever goes though.

BK fries are awful. I cant explain it, but it is like the take potatoes, puree them, form the puree into fry shape, freeze them, then toss them in a fryer.

McDonalds fries are better than BK in every way. Even the shitty fries from McD are better than the best BK fries.

NOW, Wendy's. If you get fresh Wendy's fries they are light years better than either McD or BK. If you get those a few hour old Wendy's fries they aren't as good as fresh McD or even old McD. I don't know how that works, but I speak the truth.

On a side note from the big three. I am amazed Five Guys even sells fries. They are awful every fucking time, fresh or stale. They would be better off putting a potato in the bag or a fist full of peanuts. Fuck, at least the peanuts don't suck.

I fucking love the BK Stacker. Everything else they make is dogshit.

I had a small fry from BK last night. They were great - much better than mcdonalds. Mcdonalds salts the fuck out of their fries. I can't even finish them. I once asked for just a little salt and they came out unsalted. So it's one extreme or the other at mcdonalds. I'll stick with BK and wendy's fries.

I like BK burgers better than most of the big chains but I agree, those fries are no good. They've never been good even though BK changes the recipe and touts these "newer better crisper tastier!!!" fries every few years. I think they changed the recipe earlier this year and made them bigger. Still, they aren't good. They don't even taste like potato, they taste like paper.

But at least they have onion rings, which are actually pretty damn good.

My favorite fries are anywhere that has crinkle cut fries. Raising Cane's has em. And this local burger dive up the street has the best fucking fries ever, crinkle cut. I don't know how they fry them there but they come out different than anywhere else. Its like the outside is extremely crispy and the inside isn't mushy at all, its almost dry and hollow feeling actually. But they are never burnt they come out perfect golden. I'm thinking they flash fry them in extremely hot oil, hotter than most fast food places.

BK fries suck. So do Wendy's. They are both mealy and not appealing.

I love KFC/Taco Bell fries though.
