Naan pizza is the fucking best

>> No.3960664

Hey I used to do this when I was living in the UK, sainsbury garlic pizza bread, sainsburry tomato ketchup (tasted a lot like tomato sauce) and w/e filling I was able to put my hands on.

End up really tasty and really unhealthy with a crispy crust and such a good smell :D

The best thing is, if you do that same recipe with really good ingredients, (exact same recipe, just use spices from an herb garden, home-grown tomatoes, etc) it becomes 5-star gourmet food. $23 an appetizer kind of food.

Put rice into pot. (Very difficult step nigger, don't fuck it up)
Pour twice that much water into pot.
Shake some cumin, chili powder, and cayenne into pot. Don't have those spices? Well fuck then, go buy them. They're cheap.
Cover pot.
Make pot hot.
Not that hot nigger, shit, calm down. Just make it simmer.
Take cover off and stir every once in a while, not too often.
Open can of pinto beans. Black beans will do if you're so much of a nigger that you want your food black.
Rinse beans.
There still water sitting around when you stir rice? If so, cook it more.
If not, stop making pot hot. (Just do what you did at the club last friday, that made everyone stop getting hot)
Dump beans into rice (Another complicated step nigger, break out your Ph.D for this one)
Eat.

There was a bakery near me in college where I got something like this. The toppings were tomato and a very light amount of asiago that brought more of a texture than a flavor, and some olive oil with basil. Very light basil flavor, not quite a pesto.

I still wake up sometimes in the middle of the night thinking about it, and how good it was. It was about 12"/30cm in diameter, baked until it was a balance between a "crispy chewy". Not quite crispy because that would require dryness, but not at all moist, otherwise I wouldn't have mentioned crispy.

Amazing what 4 or 5 simple ingredients, handled correctly, can do.

Wow. Shitty recipe, OP.

Putting premade ingredients on premade crust. How creative.
Here's another great recipe!
1 slice bread
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons butter flavored spread
1 slice American cheese flavored gelatin product
Spread ketchup and butter on bread. Apply cheese flavored product. Microwave for two minutes.

???

"There are three official variants: pizza marinara, which is made with tomato, garlic, oregano and extra virgin olive oil, pizza Margherita, made with tomato, sliced mozzarella, basil and extra-virgin olive oil, and pizza Margherita extra made with tomato, mozzarella from Campania in fillets, basil and extra virgin olive oil."

i love tomatoes on pizza.

that and onions & mushrooms

>> No.3964750

Oh yeah, I've done that before because I had all of these ingredients, so I just threw them together and, and all of you ragers will love that part, nuked them in the microwave. Naan is delicious and pizza toppings are, how could anything go wrong?

Looks terribad.

>> No.3964786

looks good, but I'm pretty sure al those ingredients total up to cost more than the equivalent amount of premade pizza. I can buy 4 large pepperoni pizzas at shoprite for 5 bucks, believe it or not.

Of course, making it yourself will almost always taste better, but I still add a personal touch to those premade pizzas by adding my own spices, topping, and cheese/sauce as well. If anything, I'd skip buying premade bread and bake it myself with dirt-cheap flour, but sadly I just don't have time for stuff like baking my own goods on top of all the other cooking I do.
