You don't measure compressable things like flour with volume because obviously its volume depends on how compressed it is.

I used to make these cookies with my grand-ma as a kid, they should be pretty easy for you to make. Big cacky cookies, not thin and crispy.

>> No.3952822

Crustless Fruit Pie
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups fresh or frozen fruit (cranberries)
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 eggs
1 teaspoon almond extract
Preheat oven to 350 F (176 C/gas mark 4).
Combine flour, sugar, salt, butter, eggs and almond extract in a bowl and mix. Then add the fruit and almonds and blend. Spread the batter into a greased 9" pie pan.
Bake for 50 minutes until set.

That should be easy enough OP. Measurements are American (sorry lol)

zimtsterne.(german for "cinnamon stars").

best cookies in the world.
i made them several times, they are not hard to make but it's a bit of work.
i think i made them 3 times so far and i surely will make them for christmas at least once.
they taste great and people love them.

the pic(which i got from google) comes surprisingly close to the way my zimtsterne always look.
i use the recipe from a german cooking site.

there has been at least one more person involved in that conversation than you seem to be assuming.

also, pretty sure a six pointed star shaped cookie has the outline of a six pointed star.
