Ok /ck/.

I've been put in a position where suddenly I have to cook dinner for 4 people (including myself), 5 days a week. I do not know how to cook as I am an average male.

I have an average budget and an assortment of spices from the guy who previously cooked.

What sort of stuff can I make?

Everyone picks one meal, you cook those five meals until you are competent at them, expand into similar, but varied dishes. Punch anyone that chooses something fancy.

day one: Broil Ham Steaks under the broiler in the oven for 6 minutes, mix yellow mustard and brown sugar into a paste and spread it on the ham steaks before you put it in the oven. Broil it until the brown sugar and mustard have caramelized and the ham is warm. Serve with white rice and steamed broccoli. You can use boil in bag rice if you are nervous about cooking the rice.
Day 2: roast a chicken like: http://toooldforramen.tumblr.com/post/739307987/awesome-roasted-chicken serve this with mashed potatoes and green beans. You know how to mash potatoes, yeah?
Day 3: Make tacos! I think you can handle that on your own, serve with refried beans (canned) and spanish rice, this recipe for mexican rice is bangin' http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/marcela-valladolid/foolproof-mexican-rice-arroz-mexicano-recipe/i

Not OP, shit I might make all these this week. That chicken recipe and the rice recipe look really good. I love having a planned out weekly menu, but I am too lazy to think one up.

an average male what? looks like your sentence was cut off.

either that or you don't understand the difference between a noun and an adjective, which is cute because you tried so hard with capitalization and punctuation.
