ItaliAnon here.
Grew up with it; it's not as good as it used to be because sometime in the late mid-80s or early 90s, Italy became obsessed with low fat bullshit, so they swapped out the whole milk for skim. Not as good anymore, thereafter.
The last standout of the original flavour was the one made for and sold within the Polish market, using whole fat milk up until the mid noughties.
Now, I don't know where I can find the whole fat version anymore, and that makes me a sad panda.
Sweetened peanut butter all the way.

Better yet: buy an old-style, non-electric iron, like the one's for smoothing wrinkles out of clothes. They're made of cast or pig iron and are heated up on the cook-top.
Heat that, as well as a cast-iron skillet large enough to hold the clothes iron in it over high heat.
When hot enough, place bacon into the skillet and off the heat under both.
Place the clothes iron on top of the bacon and let it sizzle and cook a few minutes; perfectly flat bacon, every time.

>> No.3764732

>>3764729

You don't have to find an old clothes iron, you can use any heavy flat object, such as the bottom of a cooking pot, a ramekin, etc. If you're feeling fancy you can even get a "bacon weight" from a restaurant supply store. A brick works too--the heat from cooking will kill any bacteria that might be on it.

Nutella on rye is god tier.

Speculoos is tasting a bit too cheap for me. I don't know what it is, I like the main flavour, but it's kinda like eating speculoos-flavoured cheap fat.

I grew up with Nutella and it's as normal to me as butter or milk, so I don't understand the need to discuss it. I don't get the hype and I don't get the hate, talking shit about Nutella is like saying Coca Cola or McDonald's aren't successful.

Nutella is over-fucking-rated.

It's good, but seriously it's not good enough to warrant the god worship hype it gets. The texture is gross as fuck and the taste is average.

Yeah I don't really like it either.

I love speculoos itself, but Speculoospasta is meh. I get sick of it after 3 bites.

Pic related, it's what my grandpa taught me to eat in the morning.
