>We feed grain to our cows instead of grass, it improves the texture and marbling of the meat.

Not exactly.

For serious, in America we use a staged-growth method for raising beef. Cattle are literally shipped from farm to farm at different stages of their lives, each farm is specialized to produce a finished product of a given sort.

The last stage is the important one, the feedlot stage.

In general practice, there's the classic feedlot, where the bows are penned up and made to be relatively sedentary and fed a tasty diet of grain. This fattens them up and makes them delicious.

There is also grass-fed beef available, in which the feedlot is a grassy paddock with fast-growing grass and the cows are penned in tight and rotated between lots to fatten up.

Both ways make really good beef.

That said, I wonder if there's any comics about domestic cattle? Or even farmers?

While I get the desire for MORE, wouldn't the exclusion of one of those patties be better for the whole experience? You get the same flavor, and such a combination of ingredients should at that point be an experience chiefly concerned with flavor and the burger becomes overall easier to handle.

Besides with the loss of one patty there might be enough excuse there for a whole second burger.

in all srs, have you ever tried eating peanuts in the shell?

it's quite an intense experience, and not soemthing for the weak-hearted or more importantly; weak-jawed

i don't suggest you do it with the very first pod you pull out of a bag, becuase the flavour is so overwhelmingly peanutty, that any shelled peanuts you crack afterward will pale in comparison

but they really are nice if you can handle the chewing
