I paid $4.82 for this pizza delivered from walmart, and it clocks in at 1500 calories. Once again I am being told to cut this pizza into fifths, and it's never gonna happen. The difference between this deluxe pie and the red baron supreme is that this pie also has cheddar cheese, black olives, and mushrooms on top.

These pizzas are so consistently good oh my god, when you think about the building blocks of any pizza, you got the crust, the sauce, and the cheese, and the red baron classic crust absolutely nails the crust and the sauce. The crust has just enough doughy sproing, a satisfying crunch seems to coat the bottom of the pizza like a liquid. The sauce is flavor forward with spices that delight in every bite. It's the best pizza sauce I've had to date. The pepperonis are also excellent on red baron pies, with a flavorful spice that kicks more than other pies without being overwhelming. The black olives are pretty mild, you're not really gonna get a strong olive flavor. The mushrooms are borderline invisible. The sausage I think blends into the spice of the sauce. The peppers are mild and enjoyable. The onion is relatively mild as well. I wish the mushroom was a little bit more flavorful though. All in all whether you prefer this, the supreme, or the pepperoni is mostly a matter of personal preference. I probably would say this is the worst of the 3 just because I don't love black olives but I would definitely buy it again to mix it up.

Here's the supreme for comparison. The supreme had 1 more Pepperoni, but fewer sausage chunks. Who knows how much of this variation is intentional vs just assembly line variance

I always liked red baron's pizza sauce back when I ate such things. Especially in the little frozen deep dish pizzas bought through schwan's. It goes to highlight how much of a difference the sauce makes.
