in particular the hot and spicy chicken and beef are unbeatably comforting. and they're only 53 cents a pop at my grocer. a little secret: splurge on a box of chicken stock or chicken broth and fill these puppies up halfway with stock, the rest with water and microwave for approx 2 minutes and let it rest for another minute or so while the hot broth finishes cooking the noodles. i could eat a cup noodle every single day of my life and die happy (from gout probably on account of all the sodium)

In most cases I do this for ichiban or nissin ramen. The Mama pa lo packet comes with a small thing of duck flavored fat, and I added deenz so sesame oil would have made it actual garbage juice level greasy.
