For me, it's toasted raviolis. I make em myself! The possibilities are endless, as far as fillings go. My go to is sausage and mozzarella cheese. I serve this with marinara sauce, keep it simple. I tell you, my cousin owns a restaurant where they serve these. The locals love it. It's a simple recipe. Just toss the raviolis in some breadcrumbs, pan fry in oil.

I thought the "white people can't handle the spice" meme was just made up until I lived in Minnesota for a few years. It's the most bizarre state I've ever lived in. The Twin Cities are basically a big hick town LARPing as a metropolis. I lived in Omaha for a few years, and the average person there was more sophisticated than the average Minnesotan. Omaha isn't known for adventurous eating, but compared to Minnesota the palates are incredibly sophisticated.

This is a typical Minnesota hotdish (their term for casserole)
https://www.nelliebellie.com/tater-tot-hotdish-recipe/
>1 lbs ground beef
>2 cans cream of mushroom soup
>1 cup corn
>1 cup peas and carrots mixed veggies
>1 pkg tater tots
>1 large onion
>1 cup cheddar cheese optional

Notice how there's not even black pepper in it?

Do not put any black pepper in your hot dish, it'll be too much for most Minnesotans. If for some reason you decide to put a few red pepper flake in it, you'll have people fanning their mouths to try to cool the heat and talking about it behind your back for weeks. Things like breakfast sausage and pepperoni have too much heat for a many of them. A sale on Campbell's condensed "Cream of ____" soups is practically considered a holiday.
