The people who popularized this cuisine were the second generation descendants of the absolute gutter trash people from Scandinavia that moved to the Great Plains who desperately tried to find any culture other than rotting fish and alcoholism, please understand

I grew up with indian immigrant parents in 90% asian/indian silicon valley so all i grew up eating was indian slop and not much actual huhhhwhite american food. so when i turned 18 and had roommates in a very white college, i ended up trying out white culture foods like chili, funeral potatoes, sliders, etc.

I really did soyface the first time i had chili, and also buffalo dip. I'm trying to go through other moments i first tried white people food in college and really enjoyed it and found it novel....I'd say trying cheese curds (wisconsin white) and fried green tomatoes (southernlard white) was revelatory for me

my white roommates and friends all soyfaced when i made them the most basic indian food.

Imagine moving from Indians to Mormons and thinking you can comment about food. Didn't read the rest. Grim

I tried my friends ex-Mormon mom's funeral potatoes and they were the blandest most "wypipo food" moment I've ever hand.

I have a genuine question, do indian people really just choose not to wear deodorant or do the spices just overcome any attempts to cull that pit stink?
Because these kids I taught were just fucking spicy smelly, it was something else
But not nearly as bad as this one guy who would use the cardio machine at the gym and no kidding made a 200 square foot no go zone around himself
I one stuck my nose into a full garbage can to get some relief from him

She's an ex Mormon explicitly because she couldn't make good ones. Its like one of the three things Mormon women have to do and she couldn't, I'd leave too.

its gotta be a combination of both bc even if one eats that super pungent indian food it still goes away with deoderant or cologne and proper hygiene. my parents dont use nearly as much spices because we're bengali and bengalis use more mustard and less chili. still smelly.
lol there was a smelljeet in my old office who used to stink up our whole place from just microwaving the food
>>20468873
funeral potatoes are just an inherently grim dogshit meal. maybe the worst white people food ive had

>> No.20468891

I coonsider green bean casserole white people culture food. I found it an okay dish. there are a few other white foods that just struck me as very white...the nebulous concept of whiteness......I'll say that I had some Alaskan friends in college who showed me to smoke salmon and that would be among my top 5 white people foods. also adding dill and lemon to salmon was a nice white culture thing.

can someone give me healthy white american dishes. healthy. please.
