What are some meme foods that you've experienced or would like to try?

I'll start
>Schokakola
Caffeinated cola-flavored ww2 chocolate.
>Calorie mate
Japanese compressed food featured in MGS3.

I've had both of those, Calorie Mate is fucking insane because it is a meal replacement, like something you'd get in an old ration.

I've had these and they're so fucking good, it's like a McDonald's gherkin but the whole thing.

solidiers actually died of starvation in their wars. I'm sure it tastes like a ground up B vitamin, and quite yucky.
>>20451523
I've had the chocolate colas in the past, and the pelligrino seltzer water that tastes like chocolate-coffee flavored caffeinated water, sooooooo bad as you can already imagine before trying it OP.

Jones comes out with thanksgiving themed sodas each year and I can tell you only the cranberry-orange is any good. Novelties are like gag gifts. Even the limited edition Lays are usually crap.

Closest thing to Calorie Mate I've had was a Datrex bar. It wasn't bad necessarily just very bland like stale shortbread, even though it was well within its shelf life.

Not sure how meme it actually is, but I've always wanted to try Lipovitan ever since I got into Asian energy shots. None of the Asian supermarkets near me stock it, just M-150, Bacchus-D, and a fucking nasty Korean ginseng shot that was colored with lac bug pigment. Shit tasted like dirt.

Lipovitan is actually the best tasting one of those energy drinks. It's slightly and finely carbonated and tastes light and slightly creamy, like an effervescent vitamin put in water, but more concentrated and the bubbles much less sharp.

I like the cheese Calorie Mates, they pretty much just taste like a biscuit cookie. Not super tasty, but they're quick and good for what they are. Texture was pretty good, solid in a satisfying way and nicely crumbly once it's bitten off

>> No.20456531

>>20456294
It's not though. They specifically say on their website it's not recommended to replace a meal, it's meant to supplement calories, and vitamins when doing strenuous activity. It's an energy bar, not a meal. In an emergency situation it could be used as a meal replacement to facilitate survival, but that is not the intended use.

that's basic Cover Your Ass, even Soylent does this.

Scho-ka-kola never contained cocaine, or meth. That's a myth that conflates it with the actual usage of amphetamine pills such as Pervitin during the war.
