Am I the only one who cooks steak ahead of time?
I come from the supermarket with 5 steaks and I cook them ony cast iron with a little bit of salt and pepper then when they cool I put them in a plate with foil and inside the fridge then I have one every night for dinner

Five at a time is excessive but a lot of folx do sear and half cook a steak or two for later finishing and consumption. Precooking five steaks is just stupid all thoughbeit.

Yeah i cook the whole package of steaks at once.
For best results do not reheat them. Let them naturally get to room temp or get heated by by being next to the hot side dishes.
