Tried pig intestine for the first time at a Chinese restaurant and jt tasted like literal shit, the waitress came out and asked us why we hadn't touched it and I told her it tasted like farts and they started panicking for some reason, I tried to calmly explain that's it was no big deal and it's just a preference thing but they wouldn't have it and kept asking me why I didn't like it and how they could improve the taste and all this other nonsense. I understand one bad review could make and break a restaurant but i think they were overreacting a little too much.

Every time I go to their restaurant I always order something new just to try out new dishes. The girl told me she grew up eating it during chinese new years so she loves it, and the guy told me that in china, there are two types of people, some who like the inside of the intestine and some who prefer the outside of the intestine. I calmly explained again, that I just personally didn't like it and that everything else was fine. Why are chinamen so sensitive?

If it tastes like either farts or shit, they weren't cleaned properly. Disgusting. Properly prepared, it tastes fine, no hints of either farts nor shit.
