Mild ketchup is superior to spicy ketchup. Thats what separates boys from men. Spicy ketchup is utterly pointless. Its bad as ketchup and bad as hot sauce.

Generally yes. I like it on things that it pairs well with. Also its pretty usefull as a general sauce base, same as bbq sauce. I make a lot of asian inspired dishes where i use ketchup or bbq as a sauce base.

Most spicy ketchup is poopshits but Red Gold make one that's delicious. They rebranded it a few years ago as Mama Selita's jalapeño ketchup and it still tastes the same but the price is inflated to duck and back now.

Only the most tasteless plebeians even own ketchup in their homes. If you're eating something and you want it to taste like tomato you should put a fucking tomato on it or prepare yourself one of the many delicious traditional tomato sauces. I also only recommend mustard that comes in a glass jar.
