Pop rock chocolate is great, but you won't find any dark variant. Can I just mix some in myself into molten chocolate or will it pop the crystals?

That milka stuff was the favorite of a girlfriend but be careful mixing that with poprocks it can make poison gas. Get her some milka and get into her panties.

I did grab 4 chocolate covered cream eggs. the strawberry one had the consistancy of chalk, like it was on last years clearance!
the other two were good and I left the maple cream for another day

I made cupcakes once and hollowed them out and filled them with poprocks and unfortunately the cupcakes were so moist that they popped most of the rocks, leaving sort of a crunchy slurry soaking the cake... with minimal pops to be had. I feel like melted chocolate must be as moist as cake. Hope that helps somehow.

I guess the darker the less moisture there should be. Idk really. I'll try.. uhh 80+

After lazy tempering, I dumped the whole bag (15g) in and stirred it up nicely. There was a lot of powder in the bag, perhaps I should have filtered that out. A few larger chunks are visible, and there's no sound, so they seem to remain unpopped. Now we can only.. wait.

Alright, done. The rocks stayed intact and pop. When there's too many their sweetness is noticeable and clashes a bit with the bitterness of the chocolate, maybe a sour or unflavored kind would be better.
