the last time I was inside a subway was in the persian gulf around 2008. I vaguely remember the pork stuff being all beef (I think) but otherwise it was surprisingly similar in its mediocrity. everyone was fat just like it would be in a merican subway

Subway is just fine. I really like the meatball and pepperoni sub. My family gets coupons in the mail all the time. 3 footlongs for $15 isn't bad. The place I go to is in the nicer side of town so that probably helps.

A footlong at Subway is $13 for garbage pre sliced meat. Any grocery store can make you a better sandwich for cheaper. The one near me is 2 footlongs for $10.99.
When Subway was cheap it had a place but now I don't know why anyone would go there. How they're the second biggest franchise restaurant in the US is beyond me.

Indeed. I had Subway once because I went on a few dates with a manager who insisted I take a sandwich when I went to pick the bitch up from work once. I didn't know what to get, so I asked for whatever the best sandwich is and it was absolutely awful. I don't know how this I've status in business in places with local delis.
