Mine is pumpkin and wild rice soup. My mom used to make it with one of those boxes of long grain wild rice, garlic & onions, chicken stock and some cream. Great in the fall on a cold day

Completely unrelated to the thread but:
I wish there was an episode of Magic Schoolbus where one of Carlos' jokes causes Arnold to absolutely explode in an autistic fit of rage and give Carlos the thrashing of his life. Mrs.Frizzle and the children panic and bear witness to one of the cruelest and most savage beatdown in human history, as they are completely powerlessly to stop his violent wrath. They look on helplessly as Carlos' skull ricochets off the curb from a flurry of curbstomps, suddenly Arnold ends the whirling dervish of fists and elbows and ignites a cigarette. Arnold walks right up frront to Mrs.Frizzles face, calmly takes a giant drag exhausting the whole cigarette in one go and blows it in her face, "I am the harvringer and arbitor of death and you people will rightfully fear me" before extinguishing his cigarette between Mrs. Frizzles eyes.
We all know how much restraint Arnild really had when it came to Carlos...
