By that point he would have been King of either the UK or Great Britain depending what term they were using and that's why I specified the actual powers the King had which by that point were largely foreign policy, theoretical head of the armed forces and internal ceremonial and executive powers limited by his influence in parliament. The US President has those roles formalised instead of varying up and down on how popular the individual monarch was and then it's been kinda frozen in that shape as the British monarchy continued to decline into simple symbolism.

There's a spectrum between absolute monarchy, constitutional monarchy and simple figurehead monarchy. By the time of the US revolution the British monarchy had definitely moved firmly into constitutional monarchy. It helps in general to remember the US revolution and resulting constitution was mostly people re-asserting the rights they believed they already had as British subjects not inventing new rights from thin air to the point you can go look up the English bill of rights from the late 1600s and see word-for-word copies the US bill of rights got. Initially only the most radical groups wanted to get rid of the King too.

Presidents and kings are only remembered if you try other than the key famous ones. Boyardee is a household name and comes naturally, who's the real king.

The Bill of Rights were AMENDED onto the constitution and had to be fought for tooth and nail by the faction of the founding fathers that actually had real ideas. The federalists pushed all of those people out of power after ratification, and the counter-revolution was complete.
