Just went to my nearest Captain D's mostly because of this thread. Research the place a little on google and saw a review that the restaurant likes to close earlier than their posted time. Realize it's 9:30 pm and place has a posted closing time of 11 pm. I walked in at 9:45 and received my food at 9:51. The whole time before getting my food manager is sitting right behind me in an empty restaurant. Get my food manager asks me if I can tell her when I am leaving because she has closed the front door. A whole 1 hour earlier than usual. I nod yes. Eat my food and head out by 10:15 pm. Keep my receipt and snitch on her to corporate.

I don't eat fast food anymore but the shrimp tacos at LJS were some of my favorites

This place is only edible once every 6 months. The one time you do try it, its orgasmic. The tender chicken and crunchy battered shell. Dont get me started on the flaky delicate fish. Also the hush puppies ohhh soo fucking good or the frys whatever you decide!

Fish and chips are relatively modern, coming from the 19th century and thus too modern for it to have been brought to the Americas by colonists. However, as silly as it may sound, Bongs don't actually eat much fish. I live in a coastal city of 300k people and I'm not sure if we even have a dedicated fish shop. You must understand that people here do not eat fish, they eat fish and chips. Fish used to be dirt cheap poverty food, but that changed when some smartass sold modern fishing fleets to the Chinese, and now cod is way more expensive than chicken, not helped by us being pretty damn poor by 1st world standards.
