The one on the right is my favorite as well. My actually favorite hot sauce is pic related but it’s like $15 a bottle and I go through it super fast. I'm a florida man, and I love Captain Sorensons Datil Pepper sauce. It's just not spicy. A touch of Dave's makes it awesome. I love Gator Hammock, too. Crush bottles of that. I used to use that stuff on my hot pockets as a kid and I think my mom thinks I still like it a lot or something and she still buys it all the time. It’s fine but not spicy whatsoever. Tabasco is a weird one for me. Back when I was first getting into hot sauce as a young lad I hated the stuff. Tasted like just nasty chemicals to me, I mostly used Crystals or Louisiana brand. Now as an adult it tastes perfectly fine to me and even though I’ve never bought it myself I use it at restaurants anytime they have it.

That's still pretty much it. Larger places and man child trafficked areas have the domestic market small manufacturer's ultra hot sauces.

I used to enjoy collecting lots of funky hot sauces with different flavors, putting them on eggs, on baked macaroni and cheese, all sorts of stuff. Just sampling all the interesting varieties was fun in itself.

But then one day I noticed spicy food reliably tended to screw up my gut, ruin my sleep, give me stomach aches, diarrhea, etc. Suddenly not so appealing. Now my fridge has a shelf full of delicious indie hot sauces that have all expired (I don't clean my fridge often enough)

Thoughts on Diablo sauce? I love it

I used to be a butcher at a grocery store. We got a shipment of what was supposed to be inside rounds but instead the box contained rib loins. We had been charged as if we got the much cheaper inside rounds. We had an agreement with the store owner that anyone in the meat department could take home meat at whatever it costs for us to get it from the warehouse instead of the regular retail price. I’ve always had a fondness for original Tabasco, but I can appreciate all the stalwart brands too. Some hot sauces don’t go too well with certain things though. When I was stationed in Mass, I picked up picrel and a few others from their lineup and was pleasantly surprised at how versatile it was.
