We do things a little differently in Chicago.

I always thought Portillo's had really good hot dogs for a chain (I mean, everyone is buying half the ingredients from the exact same companies so it shouldn't be hard not to fuck up), but yours kind of looks like shit.

As much as I love Chicago hotdogs, the Maxwell Street Polish is in a much higher class.
Also Strat's over Mickey's any day of the week and I'm ready to die on this hill.

>We do things a little differently in Chicago

I love in a state boarding ill-noise and periodically some Chitcage expat will flee to our lower taxes and try and open a hotdog joint. I always take off work for opening day so I can try and be the first customer through the door and give them a proper greeting. I always order a Chicago dog and usually it's the owner who hands it over to me. I lock eyes with them then make a point to look at their stupid little "no ketchup" sign as I produce an unopened glass bottle of Heinz Tomato Ketchup from my pocket. I drown that Chicago dog completely, using the entire ketchup bottle and then I consume it sideways with great gusto, eating from the middle towards the ends. Usually the place folds in a couple of weeks, but sometimes it sticks around and every time I've been back to one that survived, their little anti-ketchup sign is gone, their windbag shitty opinions buckbroken out of them by a deluge of ketchup loving customers.

Only tourists, burb transplants, and boomer paczki/marinara monkeys give a shit if you drown your dog in Ketchup. They're the same crowd that loves deep dish bullshit too.
