Agree

Rightfully so, Italian is much more varied and flavorful that Germanic cuisine

Ah yes, like Dolma and Baklava and ummmm... errrr... uhhhhhhh......

I think that's just black girl hair. Sometimes they have odd hairlines when its all straightened and pulled back. Sometimes they mold those "baby hairs" into fun swirls and designs.

France is famous because it defined haute cuisine. Actual, everyday French dishes are nothing to write home about.
>>20223609
>Germanic countries
>ranking above any med
Their dishes are just too samey for me. You can only do so many variations of roasts before it gets tiring.
Also,
>Ottoman cuisine
That's just a collection of dishes from the people they conquered, which includes Greeks, Levantines etc. Actual Seljuk diet consisted of them boiling their unproductive horses or making jerky out of them.

Currywurst is peak sloppa though.

Not against greek food but yeah it overlaps big time.

gyros = kebab
loukoumi = lokum
koroubiedes = qurabiya
fasolada = kuru fasulye
pita = pide
spanakopita = ispanakli borek
moussaka = musakka
feta cheese = beyaz peynir
halloumi = hellim

what ever one has salads that would piss off salad autist the most

>> No.20223970

>>20223917
Well yeah, there was always significant cultural overlap between Greece and the Middle East, even before Ottoman conquest. Koroubiedes and Moussaka for example are both Arab in origin, Greek yogurt got its start in Bulgaria and the use of rose water came from Persia. Iirc, Doner is the only Ottoman dish that's 100% confirmed to have originated in what became modern-day Turkey.

It's pretty common for people with black or American indian blood just have really bad hairlines. For people like this, it grows in very sparsely and only releases pubic hair length.

Sorry, a simple English meat pastry literally mogs all continental cuisine

>> No.20224025

>>20223917
I don't see how Turks can claim Spanakopita (or any kind of -pita), feta and halloumi when they are all mentioned in Byzantine and Venetian texts. An actual Turkish pastry would be chebureki and its derivatives.
Then again, this is a retarded discussion. We might as well discuss why Swedish and Finnish food overlap.
