It's an incredibly toxic chemical solvent that's used to "clean" carpets (i.e. disinfect and dissolve oils etc). I try to do a deep clean once a year or so and as I mentioned above I'm hosting some peepce next week so it's a good time to refresh the place.

The stuff is super toxic though so you basically need to spray the carpeting and leave the house for the day with all the windows etc open.

I have a good job and I worry not about money. Wasting money annoys the fuck out of me though because I'm not a lunatic.
