Guinness is alright. I'm not a huge fan anymore since moving on to craft nitro stouts, milk stouts and porters. Phillips longboat chocolate Porter was my fav but I can't find those outside of British Columbia in Canada.

I'm pretty jealous of UK pub culture, it sounds great at least. Here pubs only exist for like the local 12 or so alcoholics who visit it every day and they're almost always rather run down.

It really is incredibly comfy. The beers are good, varied, and usually local; the patrons are mostly casuals; the pub itself is old and comfy with plenty of nooks to stay in.
Usually they have decent food too.
