I work as a cook at a "long term care facility" (little more freedom than a regular loony bin, mostly retarded people). You eat like the residents do, in fact I have a resident who will forgo any cookies or cakes made for snack time, because he wants instead three slices of cheddar cheese with peanut butter spread on each slice. I think so, most of the Aramark gigs I see around here are like a dollar or two less than what I make, and I think I have more freedom than they do. I semiwrite the menu, everything has to be approved by a dietician who will fucking not approve anything other than cracking open a can and throwing it in the oven, so I long ago gave up on the idea that i could feed these tards and schizos decent food. Benefits are kinda whack though, it's more money than my last job but my last job had a 401k.
