Making this thread is cruel and you it, OP.

>Since 2016, a food insecurity crisis has been ongoing in Yemen which began during the Yemeni Civil War.[10] The UN estimates that the war has caused an estimated 130,000 deaths from indirect causes which include lack of food, health services, and infrastructure as of December 2020.[11] In 2018, Save the Children estimated that 85,000 children have died due to starvation in the three years prior.[12][13] In May 2020, UNICEF described Yemen as "the largest humanitarian crisis in the world", and estimated that 80% of the population, over 24 million people, were in need of humanitarian assistance.[14] In September 2022, the World Food Programme estimated that 17.4 million Yemenis struggled with food insecurity, and projected that number would increase to 19 million by the end of the year, describing this level of hunger as "unprecedented."[9]

There are karmic consequences for being cruel, especially to the downtrodden. OP should reflect upon this when misfortune soon befalls him.
So mote it be, and so it is.
It's done,
It's done,
It's done.

No. OP is race baiting by asking about Yemeni food when everyone knows Yemen has had a terrible famine for many years. It’s a variation of the “what do they eat in Ethiopia” thread and anons post empty plates or mud.

i've had ethiopian food several times

its fuckin weird.

just because there is a famine doesn't mean nobody is eating. Also cuisine often comes from a wealthier class.... you know, people who can afford to go to restaurants and have chefs (during a famine)

also i just dont like lamb. to me it tastes like someone ground potpourri into it , the kind that middle aged women love.

i had it once in NYC, highly recommended. the menu had options for normal middle eastern roast meat and pita stuff or sample platters like the one in your pic, i got the sample platter and enjoyed it a lot. it came with a flatbread thing not a roll like your pic.

>>20107162
to me it tasted like a cross between ethiopian food and middle eastern/iranian food which i guess makes sense. i remember there was some cucumber salad that was good and another thing of roast veggies with delicious spices

I don't know, I'm not yemeni. It's rice and meat and spices cooked for hours in a hole in the ground or something
Lamb becomes gamey when it's overcooked and I hate the taste as well. But lamb cooked properly is the best meat on earth

Yemenis aren’t eating this. They’re starving to death because they’re retarded inbred savages whose pedo religion tells them to destroy their own country and martyr every man, woman, and child to destroy Israel and America. Keeping it in the tribe and marrying first cousins has made them retarded. And any of their lamb dishes are stolen from the Greeks. Just make roast Greek lamb instead and leave the camel fuckers in the sand where they belong.

>>20107794
There are a lot of Yemenis in Malaysia, and Yemeni food is very popular there. Probably the most popular is Chicken Mandi, because lamb doesn't thrive in a jungle environment.
I tried Chicken mandi a few times, it's ok. A little boring, like most Arab food.
It's OK if you got some spicy sambal or hot sauce.
